Services
Our services help you:
  • Identify your mission: what difference is your congregation here to make, and in which people's lives?
  • Organize to advance your mission.

We work with clients through four stages of organizational transformation

  1. Casting the Vision
  2. Building the System
  3. Engaging the System
  4. Living Into Your Vision

Casting the Vision
Congregations and institutions that make a real difference in the world first articulate the core values that guide all their work, the mission that flows from those values, and the more specific differences in lives that will advance their mission. See our blog post on the Nested Bowls. We help you answer powerful questions about values and mission and choose a governance structure to help you realize your mission in the world.

Building the System
Congregations and institutions that make a real difference in the world align authority and accountability with their values and their mission. We help you develop the governance policies and tools to enable accountability to your mission, in alignment with your values.

Engaging the System
The first few years in your new system you’re learning new skills and building new practices. We provide coaching and customized services to help you fully realize the benefits of your new governance structure.

Living Into Your Vision
We help you deepen and strengthen your governance practice through all the normal changes in your congregation’s or institution’s life. We help you keep your governance connected to your highest purposes.

Our services help you answer powerful questions together

  • Whose are we?
  • To whom are we accountable for our ministries here and in the world?
  • What values will we honor with the work that we do?
  • What difference are we here in the world to make and for which people?
  • How can governance liberate and empower leadership for our mission?
  • How can we align our organizational life to honor our values and advance our mission?

"We are grateful to Laura Park of Unity Consulting for showing us that good governance is a deeply spiritual practice."
